🪶 Our Story
The Eyak people, one of Alaska’s Indigenous communities, have lived in Cordova for generations. Their culture views land, forests, and seas as collective treasures that sustain life and tradition.
EYAK Community Land Trust continues this legacy: land held for the community, by the community. By preserving and developing community land, the Trust protects natural resources while strengthening Cordova’s cultural and social fabric.
